Ferrey AAF Mukden 3.6.5

According to the records of the 19th Bomber Grp on Java in 1942, 1Lt James Ferrey was wounded in a strafing attack on the airfield at Singorsari Java on 20 FEB 42.
This necessitated his being left behind in hospital when the Group evacuated to Australia in FEB. LTC Tharp does not list him among the AAF members who were left at Singosari/Surabaja with E Battery. However, he is recorded by a number of sources as being liberated from the Mukden Manchuria Officers camp, so it is obvious that he was taken as a POW with E Battery.
